TRAINING ON STAGE Project (2004-2006)

The project is organised within the European Commission programme LEONARDO DA VINCI. Its objectives are pilot activities concerning the evaluation of vocational qualifications for administration, management and marketing in the performing arts and the creation of a new vocational training model in EU countries. ICIMSS is the Polish coordinator of the project. Its aim is to create and introduce a new vocational training model for young people who want to work in the administration, management or marketing sectors in theatres and cultural institutions. We will be cooperating with professional theatres, bands and dance groups in which research will be conducted. The aim of the research is to find out if these professions exist and what kind of qualifications people who are working there have. The created training model should help young people in the future to find suitable employment opportunities.

In this project ICIMSS is cooperating with partners from theatres and training institutions from Italy, France, Germany, England, the Netherlands and Romania. The project will be completed in 2006.
