Description

The villa at 4 Paderewskiego Street in Bydgoszcz designed in 1904 by Rudolf Kern for the benefit of Max Eichenberg. The bays, the turret with a roof lantern, the porch, the forged balconies and diversified decorative gables as well as the high roof add variety to the body of the villa. The characteristic features of the villa are the friezes with Art Nouveau floral ornamentation. The motifs of female heads and fish heads decorating the external stairs constitute the elements of decor. One may discern white lintels over some of the windows. The geometric and figural architectonic detail as well as decorative panels imitating escutcheons may also be noticed.
