How to make up bibliography and notes?

Describing a problem or presenting the results of our research, we often, to confirm our findings or conclusions, cite the parts of other authors’ works. It happens also that we just refer to the statements of these ones recognized as the authority or we mention the studies concerning the subject of our interests. In each case we are obliged to give full bibliographical description of the publication, which we refer to. A place appropriate for such notes is a note. Besides the formal annotations we can write there our own explanations, conclusions, comments. There is not always a right place for it in the main text.

How to create a note?

A note - is an explanation or a supplement to a specific place in our text, created in two stages:

  1. we mark with a figure (number) or other mark a chosen place in the main text, to which the note will refer, e.g. 1 or **
  2. we create the proper note, containing complete bibliographical address of the source, from which we took our thougt, information, quotation or our own comments. The note is located at the bottom of a page (footnote), at the end of relevant part of the work (e.g. after a chapter) or in some cases at the and of the work (endnote).
